Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. Yes, there’s lots of yummy food but the best part is the call to focus on being thankful. Being grateful is a very simple act which can bring humongous joy to ones life. Simple is how I like to live and how I like to decorate. My Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape is an easy way to create a very special place for family and friends to gather and give thanks.
I began this look with a simple linen table runner. I love it’s subtle hint of shimmer and the neutral color makes it an easy addition with any decor. For my centerpiece I used a 4-piece candle holder filled with unscented candles, pine cones, white pumpkins and a few metallic colored acorns. I added a few faux crystal branches to add a little sparkle. A few strategically placed mini candles gives a warm candlelight glow to the whole table.
Each place setting is very simple as well. Pretty white dishes accented with striped, shimmery linen napkins. I placed a mini pine cone in each bowl. Their lightly painted metallic color adding a little shine to each guests special seat.
To balance the whole table I included a green Cinderella pumpkin. I would have bought two from the local grocery store but this was the last one. So on the other side I used some grapevine pumpkins with a few more of my beloved mini white pumpkins. They are so adorable!
Although this Tablescape isn’t very fancy, the people that will be sitting here are priceless. I’m hoping there will be many more wonderful Thanksgivings to come at this very simple, BUT very special table. 🙂

The moment I saw your table with wonderful centerpiece I was so drawn to it, it’s simple, elegant and real looking. We all don’t have fancy dishes to put out or fancy centerpieces to display, your table and centerpiece speak of true Thanksgiving caring among loved ones and friends. Happy week

Simplicity can be so elegant. I love how your table puts the focus on the people that are there instead of what’s around them. It’s simply beautiful!

Love the natural look of your tablescape, beautiful! I which I had some pine trees for the pinecones. I’m sure I could probably find some close by though, I just need to keep a lookout. I do have plenty of acorns though. I love the faux crystal branches that you add too. Pinning!
