Celebrate the holiday season with these memorable quotes from the classic movie, Christmas Vacation.
My favorite Christmas movie of all time is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I can still remember the first time I saw it. It was my sophomore year of college and I was in my apartment. I was probably “studying” for semester final exams. I was all curled up in bed with my books when Christmas Vacation came on my super small (like 13 inch) TV. I started laughing pretty much from the opening credits until the end– “Play Ball”! Sometimes it was that can’t-breathe-tears-running-down-my-cheeks, laughter. So funny!
23 years later, I’m almost positive I have watched this movie every Christmas season since. My oldest son said just last week, ” We watch this movie every year.” I was like, “I know. Isn’t it great?!” He does love it but I’m sure he thinks, Mom is weird! 😉
There’s so many fabulous one liners in that movie. I could quote you about 20 right here and now. But what’s the fun in that? So….I made printables of my favorite four!
I know you have heard this one!
I just love Aunt Bethany! I hope to be just like her when I get that old– just checked out on life but as happy as can be!
I know you just read that in her voice! 😉 I can’t stop laughing every time those words come out of Aunt Bethany’s mouth. Too funny!
And last but definitely not least, is good old Eddie. You can’t talk about Christmas Vacation without quoting him!

All of these Christmas Vacation printables are just a little early Christmas gift from me to you!
Oh and just so you know, you can find these printable along with many others in the IFM Archive; our library of all the best printables, checklists and more!
I really hope you’ll love these Christmas Vacation printables as much as I do. I’ve already placed one in my kitchen. Every morning when I go to make my coffee, I always “squeak” out a little laugh. It’s a great way to start the day!
And because I could talk about this movie for hours…you’ve got to tell me.
