Now that we are officially past the risk of frost, it’s time to start filling all those outdoor planters. Today I’m sharing with you all my favorite selections of planters you are sure to love!

Yesterday I ventured out to find some new annuals for all my planters. I’m not a huge gardener, but one of my favorite things to do in the spring is fill my outdoor planters with some pretty new spring blooms. I love to try out new flower combinations each year too.

A couple of summers ago, I tried the combination of blue hydrangeas, impatients and potato vines. One of my favorite summer flower looks!

Last year on our backyard deck I had several planter combinations. These below are lavender with some cosmos and potato vines. They were really pretty except all my cosmos died because the squirrels kept digging them up. Ugh.

The other side of the deck had some planters with white geraniums, spikes and some ivy vines. I really loved watching this combo grow and fill out.  The vines trailed down the sides of the tall black planters so nicely!

Heck, I even find ways to use my outdoor planters into the fall months. I created this pumpkin topiary with a simple black urn planter. (You can actually find the complete tutorial for this topiary by clicking HERE.)

But you may have noticed, I don’t own that many outdoor planters and often use the same style. And now that it’s officially the season of planting pretty blooms, I need some new planters. 🙂

16 Fun Outdoor Planter Styles

So I’ve been shopping and decided to put together a collection of all of my favorite outdoor planter finds. There’s planter bowls that are perfect for a table top herb garden – which I am going to do this year! Or there’s also a great collection of short and tall planters, plus a mixture of style and colors. I personally would love to have them all.

But if I had to choose just 3, I would go with #4, #11 and #13 – which is at a great price point!
