Looking for the perfect holiday cookie? These Peppermint Meltaway Cookies are sure to become a Christmas favorite!
‘Tis the season for baking up something sweet. And today I have for you a delicious peppermint treat. My Peppermint Meltaway cookies are just like their name. Each bite you take, simply melts away in your mouth! It’s full of peppermint goodness and they will be gone in a matter of minutes. I’m totally speaking from experience here!
This time of year, I love to bake with peppermint. Not only are the candy canes easier to find, but that subtle hint of peppermint just takes me back sweet holiday child memories. When I was little, those candy canes were my favorite treat to get at school Christmas parties.
And if you are a candy cane lover like me, these Peppermint Meltaway cookies are going to rock your Christmas! The soft, sugar-like cookie has a touch of peppermint as well as the sweet, pink frosting. Topped with a little crushed candy cane and you’ve got three times the peppermint goodness. Is that too much? Naaaah….no such thing!
This recipe would be great to give out to family and friends. Or if you are going to a cookie exchange, these Peppermint Meltaway cookies would be a hit! I will warn you though. You may have everyone begging you for the recipe. So, just keep that in mind. 🙂
I do hope you give these sweet cookies a try! And then, let me know how much you love ’em!
